About Hotel Sunstar
Hotel Sunstar, is located on Wengens’ main street just 1-minute from the Mannlichen cable car and close to the station. Wengen is a traffic free area so is ideal for families. This Alpine village is ideal for beginners and intermediates and is part of the Jungfrau ski area along with its neighbour Grindelwald.
Hotel Sunstar sleeps 156 guests in comfortable rooms some having balconies overlooking the village. Some of the facilities include an indoor swimming pool, Wi-Fi and a steam room. Meals can be taken in the dining room or at the A la Carte restaurant. Guests can relax and listen to the pianist play in the evenings whilst sipping on a nice drink. Children can have a great time in the play area.
Wengen is a quiet village with a selection of restaurants and bars that provide various entertainment throughout the evening. Some bars stay open until late and have a DJ and karaoke. Other activities in the resort include a cinema, curling, sauna and solarium. For those that need an adrenalin rush, try some heli-skiing or hang-gliding.
Nearly all the slopes can be accessed by the train or ski lifts. The nursery slopes are mainly in Wengen and just above Grindelwald, including a ‘slow speed zone’. Advanced skiers can try the famous Lauberhorn World Cup downhill piste, or the Black Rock run which starts at the base of the Eiger.
Ski Accommodation
All the rooms at Hotel Sunstar are tastefully furnished and decorated and they face either the village or the beautiful valley.
The village facing twin rooms have bath and WC whilst the single rooms have a shower and WC.
Valley facing twin rooms can take an extra bed and have bath and WC with balcony or terrace.

Meals
Each morning a buffet breakfast is offered to guests to get the day started.
