The Hotel Du Glacier is located just outside the resort of La Thuile but offers easy access to the heart of the resort, which is little more than five minutes away on foot.
It's a similar distance to the Edelweiss drag lift for those who want to head onto the nearby slopes, whilst you are less than ten minutes away from the ski school if you are trying your hand at skiing for the first time.
Childcare is available if you have the kids with you, but is off-site at the Planibel Hotel and Apartment complex.
The hotel itself is family run and offers fantastic hospitality in a cost effective manner, with views of the Aosta Valley that can be admired from the private balcony that comes with the rooms.
