About Hotel Caprice
Hotel Caprice is a small modern hotel in a central location just 2-minutes’ walk from the mountain train, 5-minutes from the cable car and close to the resort amenities. The 20 rooms have been newly renovated and are furnished to the highest standards. Most rooms have wonderful views of the valley and mountains.
As long at the conditions are good you are able to ski right back to Hotel Caprice which skiers love. Once you are back in the hotel you can ease those aching legs in the complimentary sauna or enjoy a massage, (fees apply). Spend the evening on the terrace admiring the stunning views or connect with your friends back home with the complimentary Wi-Fi.
Wengen is a pretty little village that is part of the Jungfrau Region ski area with access to 378 kms of downhill skiing served by 66 ski lifts. It is also the site of the Lauberhorn World Cup Downhill Ski Race and experts will not want to miss the opportunity to try and match Franz Klammer’s speed.
Beginners will find plenty of nursery slopes in and around Wengen, where they can learn their skills. Take the train up through the Eiger and intermediates can ski to their hearts content. The views from here are breathtakingly beautiful.
Wengen is not suitable for people with walking difficulties as there are lots of steep hills in the area, and the village is traffic free.
Ski Accommodation
Hotel Caprice has 20 rooms available for guests to stay in.
All rooms have been newly renovated and have a bath and WC.
Most are south facing with balcony and have stunning views of the valley and mountains.
There is a west facing twin room with restricted side view which is available.
North facing small double rooms for sole occupancy have a shower and WC.
South facing 3-room suites are ideal for families and groups. These suites have 2 bedrooms, lounge and balcony and are available on request.
Facilities in the rooms include cable or satellite TV, hairdryer, mini-bar or fridge, radio and a telephone.
Meals
Hotel Caprice has a half board basis available to guests.
Each morning an excellent hot or cold buffet breakfast is offered to guests to get the day started.
A 5-course evening dinner is served with a choice of main course, starter and dessert.
Guests can enjoy the weekly gala dinner.
Christmas and New Year gala dinners are included.
