About Hotel Ca Fiore
The Hotel Ca Fiore is close to the ski lifts, ski school and the local bus stop, where the free bus will take you to the Jafferau and Melezet ski lifts and the resort centre. The hotel sleeps up to 74 guests and offers a wellness centre with sauna and whirlpool. The dining room has an open fireplace which makes it cosy for guests to relax in of an evening. This popular hotel offers a good standard of service and staff ensure guests experience a friendly and homely atmosphere.
Bardonecchia is located right on the French border and is a market town with modern and traditional buildings. The town itself has an indoor swimming pool, an ice rink and a cinema. With numerous shops, bars and restaurants there is plenty to do for non-skiers.
The resort has 140kms of pistes and some of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic events were held here including the snowboarding giant slalom, held at Campo Smith. Skiing here is ideal for all abilities with local nursery slopes for beginners in Melezet and Campo Smith. Once the basics have been mastered, novices will be able to take their skills to the long blue runs and the many reds that cover the vast skiing area.
The Fisi 50 from Colomion is a World Cup race run and was also a run in the 2006 Olympics. Just a 45-minute bus ride away is Montgenevre, where there are plenty of black runs for the more experienced skier, with magnificent scenery and beautiful views of the French and Italian Alps.
