About Hotel Allalin
Hotel Allalin has been in the same family for 4 generations. It boasts modern accommodation with some rooms recently refurbished. Located in a quiet part of the village, the centre is only 250 metres away. The free ski bus stops outside and takes guests to the slopes in a couple of minutes. A rustic dining room adds to the charm of the hotel. A free sauna and whirlpool are some of the features of the Hotel Allalin. There is a relaxing lounge area and Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
The village of Saas-Fee is known as ‘the pearl of the Alps’, nestled in the Mischabel range and is a traffic free zone except for service vehicles. The mountains surrounding Saas Fee, tower above the village and virtually guarantee skiing conditions are first class. Saas Fee is one of Switzerland’s more family friendly ski resorts with plenty of flat, sunny slopes for beginners and supervised activities for children.
Saas Fee is not only for skiers, holidaymakers can experience walking paths taking in some of the fantastic scenery. There is also a whole mountain (Hannig) dedicated to sledging - high altitude fondue, followed by torch-lit descents are a speciality. Another attraction is the famous Ice Grotto, which is reputed to be the largest and highest in the world, located at an altitude of 3500 metres above sea level. Here visitors can admire the many ice sculptures on display.
Ski Accommodation
Hotel Allalin has 30 rooms sleeping up to 60 guests.
All the rooms at the hotel have a bath and WC a swell as a safe, telephone, cable TV, hairdryer and a balcony which faces south, west or east.
Superior rooms have been newly renovated and have some fantastic amenities.
The standard 2-roomed suites, which sleep 3-4 people, are split-level and are the perfect choice for families. These rooms come with a twin bedroom, separate lounge and a double bed on a mezzanine area.
Meals
Hotel Allalin has a half board basis.
Each morning an excellent buffet breakfast is served to guests, the perfect way to start the day.
In the evening there is a 6-course evening meal which includes a salad buffet and a choice of main course.

Saas-Fee has been described as a miniature Zermatt, the pearl of the Alps, absolutely charming and revelling in its reputation for super-reliable snow. The altitude, between 2500m and 3500m, makes that pretty certain, and the backdrop of towering peaks and blue-sparkling glaciers makes it staggeringly beautiful too.
