Saas Fee
Apres-Ski in Saas Fee
Well, first and foremost, Mittelallalin is home to the highest revolving restaurant in the world. Unmissable! Then there are about 40 other eateries around the resort, catering for every taste and pocket. You simply must have a fondue or raclette sometime.
The Larix, at the bottom of the slopes, is a popular choice for drinks in the afternoons, or try Nesti's or the Black Bull. For late night dancing, you have four spots to choose from - just to mention one, the Go-Inn has a lively vibe, so be there or be square!
As for activities, oh my gosh, the toboggan ride by the Alpin Express…snow-tubing, horse-riding, dog sledding, ice skating, curling and ice hockey matches. Or visit the museum in the village and the ice grotto, also at Mittelallalin.
Saas-Fee is a lovely place for a skiing holiday. Let us whizz you there!
Gary's Little Gems in Saas Fee
Not as famous as its next door neighbour Zermatt, Saas Fee has very good skiing at better value for money prices. It is very high at 3500 metres which guarantees good snow early and late in the ski season. The run from the top of the Mittelallalin down to town is a must, combined with lunch at the world's highest revolving restaurant. Don't leave your ski gloves on the windowsill, as you could forgot the restaurant turns after a few glasses of wine!
