St Moritz

It's nothing if not world-famous - do you remember that song, Where do you go to my lovely? Here's the line: "When the snow falls you're found in St. Moritz, with the others of the jet-set." But you really don't have to be a jet-setter to ski in St. Moritz. We can sort out great value-for-money holidays for you so you could rub shoulders with the rich and famous without having to smash your piggy bank.

There's a lot more to St. Moritz than glitterati and bling. With an altitude of 1800-3305m, its snow is reliable and it's a sunny place - always a boon - with a very, very good and varied ski area including 350kms of pistes in four sectors: Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb and Zuoz.

Choose Corviglia if you're a beginner then progress to great long cruisy reds here. Corvatsch is quieter and perfect for freeriders and more experienced skiers. Diavolezza and Lagalb are high in the next valley, accessible by train or bus, and offer spectacular off-piste, thrilling red runs and a few tasty blacks. Zuoz, with a family-friendly feel, is great for kids, beginners and improvers.

And we haven't forgotten snowboarders and cross-country skiers either…it's fun fun fun for you in St. Moritz.

Apres-Ski in St Moritz

Amazing place, with the frozen, snow-covered lake holding (well, we hope the ice holds!) activities like skating, curling, golf, polo, horse racing, greyhound racing, show jumping, and even cricket. On. The. Ice. Wow!

You can toboggan on Muottas Muragl, take a sleigh ride, winter hike, kitesail… And we've all heard of the Cresta Run. Enough said.

Eating and drinking out is a joy - try the draught beer at the Stübli or (allegedly) the world's largest selection of whisky at the Devil's Place. There are only 2500 to work your way through. There are over 70 restaurants to choose from, not all of them fine dining. How about the Veltlinerkeller or the Bellaval for pasta and BBQ? There's a pizzeria too and plenty of places serve fondue and raclette.

It's certainly an experience you'll never forget if you take a ski holiday in St. Moritz. Book with GetSkiing and you'll be surprised that it's possible to find reasonable prices.

Gary's Little Gems in St Moritz

Arguably the most famous name in skiing, St Moritz has the skiing to back up its great reputation. There are ski runs to suit all levels of ability and some great restaurants, but some of the prices can be eye watering. Why not take the train from Zurich to St Moritz and sit back and enjoy the great scenery and efficiency of the Swiss Rail network?
