About Tunturi Hotel
Tunturi Hotel is a relaxing hotel with wood panelled public areas and tasty cuisine. This hotel is set approximately 200 metres from the village where there are some bars and restaurants to enjoy.
Right outside the hotel is a ski bus stop, making it easy to get to the slopes as quick as you can. Next to the hotel is where the cross country ski tracks start, great for exploring.
Spend the evening relaxing in the bar beside the cosy fireplace with a beverage or 2 with your friends and family chatting about your day. There is the opportunity to have a dance or listen to music in the evenings.
Although Saariselka is a fantastic resort, it is geared more towards beginners and intermediates as well as snowboarders.
Saariselka is situated in the far north of Finnish Lapland, approximately 250km above the Arctic Circle. It is a small resort in the middle of nature with a small number of hotels and chalets. There are 200 km of well maintained cross country routes and 15 slopes altogether.
Ski Accommodation
Tunturi Hotel has a total of 96 rooms spread over both buildings. These buildings are 100 metres from the main reception building.
Standard hotel rooms sleep up to 4 guests and are of 3 star quality.
Each room has twin beds, double sofa-bed, shower, hairdryer, WC, telephone, TV, kettle and tea/coffee facilities.
Meals
Guests can enjoy an extensive range of hot and cold dishes each morning for breakfast.
Dinner is a 3 course evening meal with a selection of each course.
