About Trickle Creek Lodge
Trickle Creek Lodge is located at the base of the mountain. The Northstar Express lift and the ski school meeting place are literally steps away. The lodge is built using a lot of timber, giving it an Alpine feel. In good conditions, it is possible to ski in and ski out direct from the front door.
The lodge has a whole host of facilities to suit everyone. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, childs kindergarten, 2 whirlpools and a fitness room. Meals can be taken in the restaurants whilst drinks are available from the bar area. If you are travelling by car there are parking facilities and Trickle Creek Lodge also has a coin operated launderette. Internet access is available to keep in contact with those back home and an on-site shop to purchase your holiday essentials.
Kimberley is in the Canadian Purcell Mountains and lies close to the slopes. It has a limited amount of nursery slopes and blue runs, but intermediates will love the wide-open trails on the front side of the mountain. For the advanced skiers, the Easter Bowl and the Black Forest Glades areas offer good challenges for tourists where the skiing is world class.
Non- ski activities are plentiful in the resort with lots to enjoy including snowmobiling, dog sledding, ice skating and curling. Other activities to enjoy are, bowling, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and of course, shopping. Après-ski in Kimberley can be as quiet or lively as you like. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, one of the most popular being The Steamwinder Bar and Grill with live music and heated outdoor seating. McBees Pub is another very popular place that tends to get very busy in the evenings.
Ski Accommodation
Trickle Creek Lodge has a total of 80 spacious apartments.
The 1-bedroom apartments sleep 1-4 guests with a king size bed & a living room with a double sofa bed.
Studios sleep 1-4 guests with a king size bed and a double sofa bed.
The 2-bedroom apartments sleep 3-6 guests with a king size bed, living room with a double sofa bed plus a second bedroom with queen size bed and second bathroom.
All the apartments have a full bathroom with bath, shower & WC. They also have a TV, telephone, hairdryer and internet access (payable locally).
The open plan kitchen has a cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer.
