Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena in Bansko is the only ski-in, ski-out hotel and enjoys the best location in the resort, at the foot of the Pirin mountain, opposite the high speed cable car and a short distance from the centre. Bansko is Bulgaria’s premier ski resort, it has the largest ski area. It boasts the FIS World Cup black run Tomba. The town itself is massive with the old town centre having cobbled streets and ancient architecture including one of the largest churches in Bulgaria. The new town is very lively, with an array of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
The hotel has luxurious rooms that are decorated and furnished in a modern Alpine style. It offers its guests a state of the art ski room, free kid’s club and shopping boutiques. Indoor and outdoor pools are provided along with saunas, steam rooms and a fitness centre, a perfect way to end a busy day on the slopes. Dining options available include a Sushi Bar and Teppanyaki Grill for Japanese cuisine, a Mediterranean Restaurant, or the Gallery Restaurant serving breakfast and buffet dinners with themes ranging from traditional Bulgarian to American and Oriental cuisines. There are 4 bars offering a variety of drinks and live music.
Ski Accommodation
All rooms have a balcony with town or mountain views. Rooms are decorated and furnished in a modern alpine style with wooden furniture and carpeted floors. Amenities include a private bathroom equipped with a bath or shower, WC, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. The living area has a mini-bar, flat screen TV with satellite channels, safety deposit box, telephone, kettle, air conditioning, coffee machine, desk, DVD player and seating area.
