About Hotel Xalet Montana
Hotel Xalet Montana is a friendly hotel which has the feel of a typical mountain chalet, built with traditional Catalan wood and stone. A 2 minute walk will take you to the gondola and on to the slopes of the Grandvalira ski area, the largest in Andorra.
Offering guests, a high standard of service and a modern spa area with hot tub, sauna and an indoor heated pool, where you can relax after a long day on the slopes. The on-site restaurant serves local style dishes as a buffet and a hot or cold buffet breakfast. There is a lounge area with a relaxing bar, a ski room with boot racks for all your equipment and complimentary Wi-Fi so you can keep in touch with those back home.
Soldeu has something for everyone, with over 60 green and blue ski runs and designated beginner areas in Soldeu and neighbouring El Tarter, there is plenty of pistes for everyone. Intermediate and advanced skiers will appreciate the 210 km of varied slopes, including 38 red pistes and 22 black pistes.
El Tarter has a snow park with a great selection of kickers, rails, boxes and pipes. Soldeu offers a fun and friendly apres-ski scene with lots of great bars and restaurants throughout the village. The Harp is an Irish bar with live music and Fat Alberts is open from 3pm until 3am making it the perfect late-night venue.
Ski Accommodation
All rooms are traditionally furnished and decorated with the use of local wood. Rooms have a balcony with views of the slopes. The room amenities include a safety deposit box, telephone, flat screen TV with satellite channels, a bath or shower, WC and a hairdryer.
Meals
Breakfast is a variety of hot and cold dishes served as a buffet each morning. Dinner is a 3 course buffet style evening meal. There is a relaxing bar area where you can purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
