About Hotel Richemond

Hotel Richemond is a traditional old hotel run by the Sarraz family that has been popular for many years. The hotel is in a central position though being set back from the main street, offering a quiet retreat. Sleeping up to 106 guests in 63 rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, it gives guests the opportunity to sample the many restaurants in the resort.

The ski bus stops just behind Hotel Richemond, so getting to the ski slopes couldn’t be easier, and the centre is only a 2-minute walk away. For non-skiers, Chamonix offers many activities, apart from the many shops, bars and restaurants, things to do include an ice rink, bowling, dog sledding, curling and for those who fancy a flutter there is also a casino. Coach day trips to Switzerland and Italy are also available, see three countries in one day.

Skiing in Chamonix is suitable for all standards of skiers, with nice gentle nursery slopes in the resort itself, ideal for beginners. Take the chair lifts and have a choice of various runs that will test the skills of skiers from intermediates through to expert skiers with runs on and off piste. If taking off piste routes, be advised to take a guide as some are quite challenging. And all of this with the magnificent Mont Blanc as a backdrop.

Ski Accommodation

Hotel Richemond has 63 rooms which sleep up to 106 guests. All rooms are spacious and have twin or double beds, bath/shower, TV, telephone and a balcony with Mont Blanc views.

Meals

Each morning a buffet breakfast, with a variety of hot and cold dishes, is offered to guests to get the day started.
