About Hotel Österreichischerhof

The Hotel Österreichischerhof is one of the most popular hotels in the whole Gastein valley, and a top option for anyone heading to Austrian soil for their winter break.

The family-owned hotel is known for the friendly welcome you'll receive from your hosts from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, with that welcome and the attention to detail throughout being key to the high levels of enjoyment.

The hotel is packed with Austrian tradition and style, but has a modern and fresh finish across three interconnecting buildings which include an impressive range of accommodation - all of which comes with a range of amenities regardless of size.

When it comes to dining, you can expect to enjoy carefully created dishes combining influences from the local Salzburger region with those from further afield, whilst there is a bar and lounge with open fire where you can sit with a drink on an evening.

A major draw is a fantastic spa that includes a range of saunas, steam rooms and a thermal swimming pool, whilst various treatments are available. You could also visit the large Alpentherme Gastein spa where entrance for guests is free of charge.

A central location means easy access to the local bars and restaurants, whilst a ski bus stop outside means you don't need to worry about hitting the slopes. Should you prefer to walk, the Schlossalm lift and the ski school meeting point are within ten minutes of the front door.

Ski Accommodation

The hotel has a range of different accommodation options, which includes single rooms for those who are travelling alone. Small Twin rooms can sleep two with a single bed and a sofa bed, with Superior Twin rooms having Austrian twin beds. Regular twin rooms can sleep a family of three with a sofa bed and have a balcony, with Junior Suites able to sleep either three adults or a family of four. All rooms are non-smoking and have a hairdryer, safe and satellite TV.

Meals

Half board breaks include a buffet breakfast with hot and cold options each morning as well as a four-course evening meal with a choice of main course and daily salad buffet.
