About Hotel Jungfrau Lodge
Hotel Jungfrau Lodge is a glorious 3-star hotel which has beautifully carved wooden panelling around the outside to give the hotel bags of character that also flows throughout the inside of the hotel.
Many of the rooms have the wood panelling on the walls and ceilings to give it that cosy cabin feel and the floor to ceiling windows, makes it feel like guests are dining alongside the glorious snow filled mountains.
Hotel Jungfrau Lodge sits just 500 metres from the resort centre, where guests are sure to have an enjoyable day or evening, with the many bars, restaurants and lots of shops to really wake up your wallet, for a bit of retail therapy.
The resort also offers many non-skiing winter activities and for those who have come to ski or snowboard, the ski slopes and lifts are just 200 metres away from the front door of the hotel. There is a regular shuttle bus that stops outside the hotel, that guests can make use of the get access to the many other ski areas that are nearby.
The relaxing lounge and bar area at Hotel Jungfrau Lodge has comfortable sofas that sit close to the lovely open fire and the dining hall is where guests can enjoy the many culinary delights services in the evenings as part of the half board package.
Guests can always catch up with the gossip back home with the free Wi-Fi that is available and there is also an internet corner, for those who need a wired internet connection and maybe items to be printed at the reception desk.
Ski Accommodation
The 29 guest rooms offer stunning views from the tastefully decorated and comfortable twin or single rooms.
All of the rooms have satellite TV, telephone, radio, in-room safe, minibar, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
There are lifts to all floors in the Crystal building, which is located opposite the main hotel building.
Guests that require access to the guest room via the elevator, must request this building, to avoid any disappointment.
Meals
Every morning a hot and cold buffet breakfast is served to guests.
Dinner is a delicious 4-course evening meal with a choice of main dishes, pudding and a salad buffet.
