Hotel Hochfilzer is a very popular hotel which has been in the same family since 1832. It offers guests very high standards of both service and cuisine. This 4 star hotel comprises of 2 parts, the main hotel and the 3 star Haus Garden across the road.
The hotel is located in the centre of Ellmau where there are plenty of dining options as well as a number of lively bars. The ski school is 150 metres away and the nursery slopes are the same distance.

Hotel Hochfilzer has 71 rooms of various sizes spread over the 2 areas. Rooms in the Hauss Garden have Austrian Twin beds and a shower as well as a safe, TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, bathrobes and hairdryer. The 2-room suites have a bath, separate WC, lounge, fridge and a balcony. Superior rooms are spacious and have the same facilities and the 2-room suites.
Meals
Breakfast is served in the style of a buffet and has the options of hot or cold dishes. Dinner is a 4 course evening meal with the choice of 3 main dishes as well as a salad buffet. There is also a weekly Gala dinner and Farmers buffet.
