About Hotel Himalaia-Soldeu
Hotel Himalaia-Soldeu Hotel is located in the resort centre, conveniently within walking distance of the gondola lift. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a touch of Himalayan influence which gives it a unique feel.
This top quality hotel offers guests a range of facilities including a wellness centre with hot tub, steam room, sauna and a fitness centre. For the little ones there is a fantastic children’s play area. Meals are taken in the on-site restaurant with a hot or cold buffet breakfast and a 4 course evening dinner with show cooking. The hotel offers many organized activities including sledding, rafting, horse riding hiking trails and igloo building.
Soldeu is a popular destination in Andorra for beginners and intermediate skiers. The large Grandvalira ski area is perfect for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers, with 210 km of piste. The area has 6 lift-linked sectors including El Tarter, Soldeu, Pas de la Casa, Encamp, Canillo and Grau Roig.
The fantastic ski schools are run by English-speaking instructors and beginners will find themselves off the nursery slopes within days. Soldeu village is located at the foot of the slopes allowing quick access from the hotel. Apres-ski in the village is fun, with lots of bars and restaurants on the main road, many staying open until the early hours.
Ski Accommodation
Rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished and decorated. Each room has a Himalayan feel with low beams and wooden furniture. Amenities include a telephone, flat screen TV with satellite channels, safety deposit box, desk and heating. The private bathroom is equipped with a bath or shower, WC, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
Meals
Every morning a hot and cold buffet breakfast is served. Dinner is a 4 course evening meal with a choice of mains and desserts. The relaxing bar serves a variety of locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
