About Hotel Gustavia
Located in the heart of Chamonix, Hotel Gustavia is a favourite with tourists, who come back year after year. A popular venue for locals as well as it is also the home of the Chambre Neuf bar, one of the best apres-ski spots which often hosts live music. The hotel sleeps 104 guests in simply but delightfully furnished rooms with good amenities.
The shuttle bus stop is outside the hotel taking skiers to the ski- bus network. The SNCF train station is also opposite the hotel, giving easy access to Flegere, Argentiere and Vallorcine. To make the most of the area, the hotel offers a daily ski brief on the weather and snow conditions, which is quite a nice touch.
Chamonix, being one of the oldest and most famous French resorts, is as popular with summer climbers and ramblers as it is with skiers and snowboarders. A Mont Blanc Unlimited lift pass will give you access to all ski areas in the Chamonix Valley, but also a day in Verbia, Switzerland and a day in Courmayeur in Italy. Skiing in the Chamonix area is suitable for all abilities with nursery slopes for beginners in the village and a lot of intermediate slopes and more challenging runs further afield. Always with the magnificent backdrop of the famous Mont Blanc and surrounding mountains.
