About Hotel Butterfly
The Hotel Butterfly sits in a slightly elevated position at the base of the beautiful mountains, in the ski resort of Zermatt.
This traditional style building has beautifully carved wood that panels the outside, including the balustrade on the balconies.
This 3-star hotel is set in the heart of the resort and just 200 metres from the resort centre, where you can find the many restaurants, shops and apres ski bars for many memorable evenings.
Guests can take the regular resort shuttle bus that stops close to the front of the hotel or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the pretty snow-filled streets.
The main ski area can be reached by taking the ski bus to the ski lifts that are 200 metres away and the ski slopes flow back down the mountains and stop approximately 500 metres from the hotel.
Ski and boots can be stored in the ski room, which also has a heated boot rack and guests can look forward to a relaxing sauna, steam room or hot tub before they get ready for the fun evening ahead.
The hotel offers free use of the internet corner or there is also the use of the Wi-Fi that is available in all communal areas of the hotel.
Breakfast and the evening meals are served in the dining hall, which offers light music in the background and a friendly and efficient service, to make your dining experience as pleasant as possible.
Guests can then make their way to the lounge to relax on the comfortable sofas and chairs, whilst enjoying one of the many locally produced alcoholic drinks from the friendly staff at the bar.
