About Garni Chalet Barbara
Garni Chalet Barbara is traditionally built using lots of wood giving a cosy atmosphere, and is beautifully furnished giving it a home from home feeling throughout. Situated just 300 metres from the resort centre, ski school and slopes, it is in an ideal position for a great skiing holiday. Guests can relax in the lounge area which has a bar and a stunning open fire where you can catch up with friends after a day on the slopes. The sauna and steam room are the perfect place to relax those aching legs.
Arabba, is a tiny village set in the heart of the Dolomites and just 40 km from the Austrian border. This picturesque village is dwarfed by the Sella Massif and Portavescovo Mountains on either side of the village. With these two mountains as a backdrop, sunrises and sunsets are not to be missed. The colours on the mountains change from a pink glow to flame red.
The immediate area has 52 km of slopes and lift systems that will take you to the other areas of Dolomiti Superski and the Sella Ronda. The Dolomiti Superski area has 1220 km of skiing pistes which link four valleys, with some of the most amazing scenery you will see in Italy. Skiing in the area is suitable for all levels, with nursery slopes for beginners and plenty of challenging runs for intermediates and experts. One of the highlights for all levels of skier is the Sella Ronda ski tour route. It features 26 km of downhill trails around the Sella Massif with breathtaking scenery.
Arabba is a typical traditional Italian village. Non- ski activities include outdoor ice skating, helicopter rides and ski tours. There are a few bars and restaurants to relax in and chill out.
Ski Accommodation
Garni Chalet Barbara has 15 rooms sleeping up to 30 guests.
All rooms come equipped with a shower, WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, mini-bar and a balcony.
The larger superior rooms also have a Jacuzzi bath. These rooms are available at a supplement.
Meals
Garni Chalet Barbara have a Bed and Breakfast basis for guests to enjoy.
An extensive buffet breakfast is served to guests each morning including hot and cold dishes.
A 4 course evening meal option is available with meals taken at the sister hotel Sporthotel Arabba.
