About Fox Hotel & Suites
The Fox Hotel & Suites is just outside of Banff and offers a free bus service into town, which is only a 10- minute walk away. The hotel also provides a complimentary ski bus service to the mountains. This hotel has a charming appearance inside and out with a stone and redwood exterior to a warm and friendly interior featuring patterned walls with bears, moose and specifically foxes, hence the name Fox Hotel.
The fox theme continues throughout the building with a fox statue perched on a coffee table in the lobby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with Mountain Luxury beds, and the suites have a small kitchen area and a living room.
Banff is in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and offers some of the best skiing areas, being the link town for the three ski areas of Banff Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise, which together feature more than 200 runs covering 125 miles of slopes and runs suitable for all abilities of skiers and snowboarders.
Each ski area has its own character and all three are accessible with an interchangeable lift ticket that includes a shuttle service between the hotel and each ski area. Banff is a lively town that has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. A host of activities can be found here including, dog-sledding, heli-skiing, sleigh rides, hot mineral springs ice fishing and guided tours in Banff National Park.
