About Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is a very grand 5-star hotel that offers luxury and style on a large scale and sits beautifully next to the lake that freezes over in the winter for guests to enjoy ice skating on.
The hotel is known around the world and guests return year after year not only because of its spectacular setting but also because it has so many facilities and amenities that caters for everyone. There is a variety of shops, a cash dispenser, beauty salon and hair salon and a coin operated laundry facility, which is very popular with families with children.
The hotel has its own spa and wellness centre with an indoor pool, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and a fully equipped gym. Whilst the adults have plenty to enjoy, the children can make lots of new friends in the games room and even play games against each other with the Wi-Fi that is available in all communal areas.
The resort centre of Lake Louise is 2.5 km away from the hotel, as is the main ski area. There is a shuttle bus that runs guests to and from the resort throughout the day and into the evening, so guests can enjoy the lively nights with the many bars and restaurants.
If you feel like staying within the grounds of the hotel complex, that would not be a problem as the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is almost a resort in itself and can accommodation couples, groups of friends and families with children, however they wish to enjoy their evening and there is also an onsite nightclub, for those who enjoy dancing until the early hours.
