About Chalet Soldanella
Chalet Soldanella is situated just a 3-minute walk to the resort centre with its many amenities. Chalet Soldanella is within easy reach of the ski lift and slopes. The Dantercepies lift is in the resort centre and the Ciampioni gondola is just 20 metres away.
Guests can enjoy the newly refurbished chalet with modern furnishings and fresh wood panelling. Offering a traditional Tyrolean ambience, this chalet is perfect for a group of friends. Chalet Soldanella sleeps up to 26 guests in well equipped rooms with en-suite facilities and many with balconies.
Selva lies in the heart of the Dolomites, and is probably the best-known resort in the Val Gardena area. With the modern lift system, access to the Dolomiti Superski area and the famous Sella Ronda is easy. Of course, Val Gardena is famous for its World Cup Downhill ski races, which are held every year.
Skiing in the area is great for all abilities with many nursery slopes for beginners and numerous red and blue runs for intermediates. There are plenty of scenic slopes through a woodland landscape.

Meals
All chalet staff have been trained to a very high standard during the pre-season and will prepare and serve meals for 5 days a week, allowing guests to experience the local cuisine.
Breakfast is a buffet style hot (traditional English) or cold (continental) breakfast with tea or coffee and fruit juice. On the staff’s day off, only the continental breakfast will be served.
After a day on the slopes, a traditional welcome home afternoon snack is provided including tea, coffee and a slice of freshly baked homemade cake.
A children’s High Tea is served at 5.30pm, with a healthy menu suited to a child’s taste including pureed food for infants. Children under 13 years are not permitted to eat at the adults only main meal.
A tasty 4-course meal is served starting with canapes and an aperitif, followed by a starter, main course and dessert. A choice of complimentary wine is served during dinner. To round off the evening, coffee and chocolates are served.
