About Chalet Libra

Chalet Libra is a modern yet traditional chalet that is situated right in the heart of the main ski area of the popular resort of Val Thorens.

It is part of the Altitude Val 2400 Residence, which is in the Balcons area of Val Thorens and just 1 km from the resort centre, where guests can enjoy the many fun days and evenings including shopping, cinemas, ten pin bowling, family friendly entertainment and lively bars and clubs offering those memorable apres-ski nights.

The main ski area is evening close at just 500 metres away and the slopes stop just 200 metres from the front door of the chalet.

The Altitude Val 2400 Residence is a large building with a rather grand entrance that lights up of an evening.

Guests staying at Chalet Libra have free use of a swimming pool, a sauna, and a fully equipped gym for those who enjoy keeping up with their fitness regime.

There is also a ski room with lockers for the guests to use and a ski shop that offers the sale and hire of equipment and also ski wear.

Inside the chalet, the traditional wood panelling runs throughout and has a lovely wood burning stove in the lounge and dining area for guests to relax and unwind, whilst waiting for your chalet host to prepare many delicious meals.

Meals

Meal standards at the Chalet Caron are set very high, and the staff are all extensively trained pre-season.

Breakfast is provided with the option of a cooked breakfast or a continental choice. Afternoon tea is also provided with unlimited tea or coffee accompanied with a slice of homemade cake.

Dinner is a 4-course meal with canapes and an aperitif followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, completed with coffee and chocolates. During mealtimes, unlimited complimentary wine is served.

Children’s meals are served separately and a healthy menu tailored towards children's tastes is offered.
