About Caribou Lodge
Caribou Lodge offers guests a friendly welcome in its 190-bedroomed property that sleeps up to 390 people. The lodge impresses its clients on first sight, as the entrance lobby and exterior of the building is constructed using hand hewn logs that create a spectacular feeling of warmth and comfort. Inside, is an enormous field-stone fireplace that invites guests to relax in front of a warm homely fire. Facilities for guests include ski lockers, leisure activities and fitness room and Wi-Fi.
Banff lies in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains amid some of the most spectacular scenery to be found in the Rockies. The skiing area is suited to all ability levels, with gentle slopes for beginners, a variety of cruising runs for intermediates and long challenging black runs for the more advanced skier.
Banff is the main town that links the three ski areas of Banff Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise, which together feature more than 200 runs over 125 miles of skiing terrain. Each ski area has its own individual character, and all three are available on one interchangeable lift ticket which includes shuttle transfers between the hotel and each ski area.
Other activities to be found in and around Banff include guided tours of Banff National Park, sleigh rides, dog-sledding, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, hot mineral springs, heli-skiing, swimming pool and curling.
