About Apartments Machu Pichu
Apartments Machu Pichu have recently been refurbished and provide a nice homely feel. They are in a piste-side location with ski in/ski out access and being just 500 metres from the resort centre are nicely positioned. All apartments have a fully equipped kitchenette and a balcony or terrace.
If you have travelled by car Apartments Machu Pichu has a garage where you can park your vehicle at the cost of 70 Euro per week. There is complimentary Wi-Fi access and a bar to enjoy a relaxing drink in after a day on the slopes. As they are self catering apartments, the complex has a mini market where you can purchase all you need and there is a ski room for your equipment to be stored.
Val Thorens, nestling at 2300 metres, is the highest ski resort in Europe with skiing virtually guaranteed all year round. A free shuttle bus takes guests around the village and between the other resorts of les Menuires, Reberty and St Martin de Belleville. Val Thorens is in a large bowl with slopes running in all directions. Ski down to Les Menuires or over to Courchevel and Meribel on the huge 3 Valleys circuit.
The whole ski area is a massive 600 kms of pistes. The best runs for beginners are in the resort itself, where long and gentle slopes are ideal for novices. With plenty of red and blue pistes, intermediates will have no time to get bored. Further down the valley, the moguls of the Cime de Caron and La Masse area will test the most experienced skier.
Non-ski activities are plentiful in Val Thorens, with over 60 restaurants and 40 bars to tempt holidaymakers. Some of the attractions include a large sports centre, mountain biking, ice driving, cinema, paragliding, dog sledding, Segway, helicopter trails and tobogganing.
Ski Accommodation
All the apartments at Apartments Machu Pichu have a kitchenette with oven/microwave, hob, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and a dishwasher.
The bathroom has a bath/shower and a WC.
The two room apartments sleep 2-5 guests and has a living room with a single sofa bed and twin bedroom with bunk beds.
Other facilities include Wi-Fi (pay locally), TV, balcony or terrace.
Bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning (except the kitchen) are included.
Meals
Apartments Machu Pichu are self catering apartments just 500 metres from the resort centre.
Being self catering it gives guests the opportunity to try local dishes in the nearby restaurants.

Goodness! Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe at 2300m. No, you don't need oxygen masks but you are pretty much assured of snow from November through to May. Surrounded by a great horseshoe of stunning peaks it's nothing short of spectacular.
