About Akas Hotel
Akas Hotel is a friendly hotel located in the traditional village of Akaslompolo in Yllas. It is surrounded by a beautiful wooded area with miles and miles of cross country ski trails starting right at the door.
The hotel has its own pub, bar, restaurant and nightclub, therefore is a hub of entertainment, ideal apres-ski. You can relax in the sauna, swim in the indoor pool or have a workout at the onsite gymnasium.
Yllas is known to be one of the largest ski resorts in Lapland and Finland with a total of 29 lift and 63 slopes. The stunning scenery brings guests back year after year and it is the perfect ski resort to learn to snowboard or ski as it has quiet slopes and small ski school classes.
With 330 km of scenic trails, it makes Yllas a cross country skiers paradise. Guests can also have fun with other activities including husky safaris, paragliding, snowmobiling and reindeer rides.
Made up of 2 villages, Akaslompolo and Yllasjarvi, there is a good variety of shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. The shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes to and from the villages.

Akas Hotel offwers guests hotel rooms which are of 3 star quality and 1 room studios which are of 4 star quality.
The hotel rooms are equipped with twin beds, shower, hairdryer, WC, telephone, kettle, TV and a mini-bar.
The studios are located 50 metres form the main hotel and have twin beds, lounge area with a double sofa-bed, fully equipped kitchen, sauna, shower and a TV.
Meals
Akas Hotel serves an excellent hot and cold buffet for breakfast each morning.
Dinner is a 3 course buffet style meal with a choice of dishes. Guests may opt for a credit towards the A la Carte menu.
