Zürs
Apres-Ski in Zürs
Zürs has a quieter vibe for après-ski - that's to say, quieter than Lech or crazy all-night-party place, St Anton. It's possible to get to those places (and back!) if you wish, by ski bus or taxi, but there's plenty on offer in Zürs itself. It's a civilised resort!
As is common in Austria, most of the Zürs bars and restaurants are in the hotels. The Alpenhof has a fab piano bar or you could pop along to the Vernissage bar gallery.
For other activities, think shopping - think exclusive shopping, think, 'I must not spend all my holiday money on the first day.' You can also enjoy a good game of squash or go walking on the Flexenpass which sounds cheaper. There's also the usual Tyrolean range of snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing, ice skating (Zürs has a natural rink) and ice fall climbing - hopefully the climbing without the falls.
For a taste of the good life in Zürs, at reasonable prices, let GetSkiing arrange a skiing holiday for you.
