Hochgurgl
Apres-Ski in Hochgurgl
The villages are largely unspoilt, dotted with picturesque Tyrolean chalets and some really good hotels. Many people love this area so much that they return year after year and it's easy to understand why, with the combination of breathtaking views, Austrian hospitality, which is second-to-none, and plenty of activities aside from skiing.
To name but a few - there's tobogganing, ski-mountaineering, snowshoe hiking and horse-drawn carriage rides. And, get this: there's Europe's highest indoor golf facility under the Hotel Riml, the Putt-in-Golf-Bar. Imagine golfing at 2200m!
For eating out, try the Wisenthal or Romantika or one of the many other restaurants serving local or international food. There are a few nightclubs too. How about Krump'n Stadl or Toni's Almhütte? Fun, fun, fun…
For a family-friendly skiing holiday, Obergurgl & Hochgurgl can't be beaten and GetSkiing can get you there.
