Chatel

Chatel is located in Portes du Soleil, one of the largest interlinked ski areas in the world, with over 400 miles of ski slopes, served by 208 ski lifts. It is an old farming village, and other ski resorts include Abondance, Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Champery and Torgan.

Chatel and the neighbouring resort of La Chapelle are important ski holiday destinations providing a good base for skiing the circuit. Chatel is divided into 2 parts: Super Chatl, the best place for beginners and links with Torgan and Morgins over the Swiss border as well as Linga where most of the slopes face North. The resort also has a mixture of advanced and intermediate skiing.
